Felt is one of the oldest materials used for making clothes, because it's easy to make and so warm. Less well known is using felt to make beautiful pieces of original art.

FringeCraft is where I show off my work for others to enjoy and perhaps to buy.

Each piece of my felt work is unique and is created to produce a beautiful piece of felt art: some pieces being practical such as the scarves and cards; others being created purely as pieces of art. more »

If a piece that you wish to purchase is not available in the shop then it has already been sold. As each piece is unique it is not possible to create an exact replica but I should be able to produce a close approximation.

Felt is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers that form the structure of the fabric.

A unique and beautiful hand felted, beaded and embroidered glasses case which would make a fantastic gift. The felt is made from fine merino wool in blended blue green colors. It is beaded with blue green and silver beads and embroidered with blue green cotton thread and silver metallic thread. Finished size 10x17 cm (4x6.7 inch).
